BOTOX Cosmetic

Many facial wrinkles are actually creases that have been formed by making the same expression many of times. These “expression lines,” including frown lines, forehead wrinkles, and crow’s feet, are due to the contraction of a muscle under the skin in that area. Using Botox Cosmetic causes the muscles responsible for creating the wrinkles to relax, creating smoother, younger looking skin.  The results are not permanent but lasts an average of four months for most patients.  The patients with the best results are typically, on average, treated three times per year. This allows the skin to stay relaxed and causes the wrinkles to disappear. If at some point you decide to stop Botox treatments, your skin will slowly return to the state it was prior to your first treatment, meaning the lines will slowly return.

Over the next 5-7 days, the wrinkles will start to soften, and your skin will look smoother, younger, and healthier. By two weeks, the Botox has taken full effect and you can enjoy a wrinkle free face for the next few months. As your Botox starts to wear off, you will notice the lines slowly returning. That’s when you know it is time for another treatment!

Platelet Rich Plasma

Facial Rejuvenation

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injections utilize your blood samples to harness the body’s natural healing properties. By injecting concentrated platelets into an injured or damaged area, PRP injections stimulate cell growth and collagen production and accelerate the healing process. This treatment provides immediate results and promotes increased blood flow to the area, aiding tissue repair and regeneration. PRP injections can enhance the presence of white blood cells, further supporting the body’s healing mechanisms.

PRP injections offer a non-invasive alternative to surgical procedures, making it an appealing choice for those seeking a gentler approach to treatment. Given that PRP is obtained from the patient’s own blood, the chances of encountering allergic reactions or infections from the procedure are scarce.
